Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:- 2.75 cups of all purpose flour
- 1.25 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2.5 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1.25 cups packed dark-brown sugar
- 0.75 cups of sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Beat butter and sugars with a mixer on medium-high speed until pale and fluffy; about 4 minutes.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Reduce to low speed and add the dry ingredients; beat until combined. Mix in chocolate chips.
- Drop about 3 tablespoon dough balls onto parchment-lined baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
- Bake until golden around around the edges but soft in the middle; about 15 minutes.
- Let cool for 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to completely cool.
